Pilots

Pilots are a young five piece band from South London. We try to do our own thing and don’t like to define ourselves in terms of other bands, but that’s what everyone else seems to do – the sound’s been compared to The Killers, The Smiths, The Strokes, Joy Division, and The Cure among others. We just want to write and play songs we believe in, and get them heard by as many people as we can. We are

So a good band Pilots are indeed, with a few different stylistic options in the locker ….  ‘Kaleidoscope’ has a bit of funky bass pushing it along … it’s got another emotive vocal as Taylor sings of a ‘kaleiscopic vision’, with the synths being very welcome, lending the song a dramatic, last-song-of-the-night atmosphere.
